MySola works like this:
o Pay monthly for equipment use under an evergreen contract
o Equipment remains owned by Solax Energy Pty Ltd.
o Early cancellation incurs a R12,000 decommission fee. (minimum 54 months).
o Transfer the agreement when Selling your property to new buyers name
Note: Non-compliant DB boards must be corrected before installation, which may cause delays. (if certificate is not provided, Solax Energy will provide certificate only at R50pm)
You are welcome to apply for ownership settlement after 48 months.
o There are Zero Upfront fees
o You only start making payments two months after your installation
o Monthly fees (VAT included) escalate by 7.5% annually on the anniversary of installation. Premiums are due on the 1st of each month.
o Solax covers maintenance, technical support, monitoring, and workmanship, with an annual site visit.
o Warranty covers equipment failure (inverter, batteries, panels).
o Mandatory insurance is the subscriber’s responsibility.
o Upgrades require written consent and must be done by Solax Energy representatives.
o Site inspection is included; additional costs apply for consumables if over 10m route from the DB board.
o Subscribers must handle SSEG forms and ensure their electrical C.O.C is compliant.
o Installation follows SANS 10142-1-2 regulations and is completed within 14 days of design approval.
